Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager, Southeast, to $105,000

Global leader seeking promotable Plant Engineer-Maintenance Manager.
Requires BS Engineering with 5-7 years maintenance management / plant engineering experience in the food / beverage industry. Hi-speed packaging Lean Manufacturing practices, and bakery experience required.

Candidate will be responsible for all engineering & maintenance activities of a 300+ union, food manufacturing facility. Will manage a department of 7 salaried, 40 hourly, with department budget responsibility of $5MM+ within a High Performance Work Team environment.

Client seeks experience in Total Productive Manufacturing systems, CMMS, Preventive Maintenance programs, PLC’s, high-speed packaging, downtime analysis, process up-starts & breakdowns, vertical start-ups, budgeting, cost / benefit analysis, project justification & development, vendor & outside contractor selection & supervision, cost savings projects, root cause analysis, energy cost reduction program, etc
